The Austrian City of Innsbruck will implement a free of charge parking system for hybrid, gas or electro cars. The measure which is organised for the first time in Austria will be valid also for people who aren’t living in Innsbruck / whose car isn’t registered in Innsbruck. The city councilor wants to reduce air pollution and encourage the purchase of low pollutant cars. The measure will be implemented in March and is limited until mid of 2012.
