AENEAS launched its ‘Good Practice Exchange Ring’ database. AENEAS stands for "Attaining Energy-Efficient Mobility in an Ageing Society." The project's objective is to become the cornerstone for international reference projects in the field of urban mobility of older people The searchable database gathers together news and information regarding urban mobility for older people throughout the entire European Union.

The database homepage opens with AENEAS team recommendations, but users can search by country, topic (e.g. vehicles & infrastructure, safety & security, stakeholder involvement) and mode of transport (e.g. public transport, cycling, multi-modal).

Each search result has its own page offering information in much more detail. Each page contains a project overview, project objectives, implementation details, project conclusions and details. Some projects also link to additional topic papers. Users can also download all project details in PDF format.

The Good Practice database is a great place to start for anyone interested in learning what is being done in the increasingly important field of facilitating transport for older people.
