European community for mobility management

Since June this year the Dutch Railways experiments with special adjusted electric bicycles in it’s own colours. On this moment there are about hundred bicycles spread over the Netherlands at railway stations. If you rent this bike for the first time you pay € 3 and later on € 7.50 for 24 hours.  You have to subscribe plus pay yearly € 10. The range of electric bicycle is 40 kilometer. If the battery is empty is possible to cycle like on a normal bicycle. Not with extra effort. Probably the electric bicycle will be part of the successful concept of the OV-fiets (public transport bicycle). http://www.ov-fiets.nl
