European community for mobility management

From July 4 to 6, 2010, more than 300 guests and speakers (experts, politicians and representatives of business, science and research) met in the city of Stuttgart to exchange ideas on urban mobility. The slogan was “Better Mobility - Better Cities”. The Congress focused on how urban mobility influences economic and social development in cities. The eMagazine has summarised the main results of the Congress.

The magazine also focuses on New Delhi’s preparation for the 2010 Commonwealth Games. It also includes coverage of the Youth For Public Transport (Y4PT), a network of young people promoting alternatives for sustainable urban mobility. Further articles include a list of 10 principles for transport in urban life and an overview of events in the field of mobility that will take place worldwide over the next month.
