The Dutch Railroads launched their first trains with a free WiFi internet-connection. At the end of march 2010 the first intercity left Amsterdam Bijlmer station with a free WiFi-connection. Through a wireless network (Wi-Fi), passengers can take advantage of a free internet-connection. Portugal has announced it is postponing construction of five major roads totalling nearly 1000 kilometres. A month after the launch of the new SMS ticketing service, the Flemish transport company De Lijn has already sold 50.000 tickets by SMS. That’s an average of 1700 per day. The SMS tickets are valid in almost every bus and tram in Flanders.
